KENBAN-Harmonica doesn't brake easily. But you should maintain because this is a musical instrument.
The precious part of this instrument (free-reed) is covored by shells. In other words, I can say the weak point of KENBAN-Harmonica is it. If you understand the point, the care is easy.
A keyboard, shells, and mouthpieces are made of plastic or painted metal. They are OK only to wipe by soft cloth. A little terrible dirt can be washed by some sope. And I heard the ethanor is useful for the keyboard. I often do it.
You should drain water. If you miss it, the instrument goes wroug because the reeds stain. Sometimes you can depart it and wipe water on the reed-prates.
And you should take care not to come something into the instrument, and not to blow after eating food or taking some drink except water. Take your mouth clean.
Tools to depert it
If you want to clean inside, you have to bring some tools.
Prepare a plus screwdriver to fit the screw(which is called "No.1"), a small bottle to keep screw (for example a film case), and a piece of cloth (not heary).
CAUTION:If you depart KENBAN-Harmonica, do with your own responsivility. The webmaster won't accept any responsivility about all of your job!
1:To remove shells
Remove the screws and pull Side-Covers off. And remove the back cover.

To remove the Air-Box
And next, you remove the Air-Box. It is fit some pieces of screw on frame. Remove it after doing screws.
After removing the Air-Box, you can find the Reed-Plates.

To wipe the Reed-Plate
When you wipe water on the Reed-Plate, you must do from the root to the point. If you wipe the wrong way, the free-reed may go wrong.
A rubber part is sticked on the facing part against frame. After putting them and putting screws, try blowing without pushing any key, if air is leaked or not.
#the covers
At first, put the back cover. If you use the Pianica, you should check a strap. And putting two side covers, tighten by screw.
